Terms of Use
Effective date: October 23, 2026
These Terms govern Can AI Agents Use My Site?, operated by Fraser Media in British Columbia, Canada. Contact: privacy@canagentsusemysite.com. Review these Terms before requesting a scan. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.
Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices. Agreement to these Terms is not blanket consent to unrelated collection, marketing or tracking.
What the service provides
Can AI Agents Use My Site? checks a limited sample of publicly accessible pages and resources for evidence relevant to AI-agent access, reading, navigation and capability discovery. It provides observations, explanations and suggested next steps. Features, supported checks and scan limits may change.
The service does not promise a complete website audit, successful agent integration or any particular business result. A report describes what the scanner observed at the recorded time, from its own environment.
Your permission and responsibilities
Only request scans of websites you own, manage or have permission to assess. You are responsible for that permission. Scheduled monitoring is disabled. Public accessibility alone is not a representation that every form of automated assessment is authorized.
Submit only ordinary public website addresses. Do not include passwords, session links, API keys, access tokens, private documents or sensitive personal information in URLs, settings or messages. Keep submissions within the service’s stated limits.
Do not use the service to bypass authentication or access controls, overload websites, evade restrictions, probe private networks, carry out attacks, gather personal information unlawfully, misrepresent reports or interfere with another person’s use of the service. Do not use bulk or repeated scans to circumvent limits.
We may restrict requests or suspend access to protect the service, other websites or people, or to address suspected misuse. You can stop using the service at any time.
What scans do—and do not do
The checker makes public network requests and may open pages in an isolated browser to observe content and controls. Page analysis uses read-only observation. The service does not log in, invoke discovered agent tools, make bookings, add purchases or complete checkout. The main scan includes an automatic enquiry-form test after approval at scan start: it selects a supported form and sends one clearly marked test using our dedicated reply address, tests@canagentsusemysite.com. This may trigger notifications or other automations at the receiving website. Loading a page can still trigger that website’s ordinary request logging, analytics or other page-load activity.
The scan is not a penetration test, security certification, privacy-law assessment, accessibility certification or traffic-capacity test. It does not verify ownership, measure AI citations, establish search rankings, test every agent or prove that every discovered protocol works.
Understanding the results
A passed check means the specified condition was observed, not that the entire website is ready for every agent. A missing optional capability is not automatically a failure. A warning or heuristic is a reason to investigate, not proof of a defect.
An incomplete, blocked or unavailable check means evidence is missing. It must not be treated as either a pass or a confirmed website problem. Results may differ by location, device, network, user agent, login state, timing and later website changes. Errors and omissions are possible.
Crawler restrictions can be intentional. Recommendations do not require you to admit every bot, disclose private content, weaken security or change business policies. Review findings with the person responsible for your website before making changes. Recheck after changes and separately test any important workflow.
Reports and third-party material
You may download and use reports generated through your authorized use of the service for your own website work and share them with advisers or developers. Keep the relevant timestamps, scope and limitations with the findings. Do not describe a report as a certification, endorsement or guarantee from Fraser Media or an AI provider.
Website content, trademarks and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights. We do not acquire ownership of your website by scanning it. You grant us only the permission needed to fetch, process, store and display submitted public content for the service’s stated functions, subject to applicable rights and our Privacy Policy.
Links and external resources are provided for context. Their availability, content and practices are outside our control. Unless expressly stated, Can AI Agents Use My Site? is not affiliated with or endorsed by the providers of the protocols, crawlers, platforms or websites mentioned in a report.
Availability and changes
The service may have interruptions, limits or incomplete features. Scheduled website monitoring is disabled. The checker is not a continuous monitoring or critical incident-detection service.
We may change or discontinue features. These Terms do not introduce a paid subscription or authorize charges; any paid service would need its own disclosed terms. Download records you need and do not use the service as your only archive.
Disclaimer and responsibility for decisions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and reports are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability or successful outcomes.
You remain responsible for decisions and website changes made using a report. No report guarantees increased revenue, conversions, search visibility, AI recommendations, successful checkout or compatibility with a specific agent.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fraser Media is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or loss of data arising from use of the service. This clause does not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not limit responsibility for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Governing law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you, disputes may be brought in the courts of British Columbia. Nothing in these Terms removes non-waivable consumer or privacy rights.
Updates and contact
The version identified by the effective date applies to the relevant use of the service. We will make updated Terms available and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively authorize new data uses or amend earlier transactions without any agreement required by law.
